Alive in the Superunknown was Soundgarden's first multimedia effort, issued on the relatively new (at the time) CD+ medium. CD+ allows both standard audio tracks and multimedia clips to exist on the same disc. While all audio CD players can read the CD+ wth no problems, there are some CD-ROM drives that are unable to recognize the format. Hence, the CD+ comes bundled with a CD containing Corel CD+ drivers for Windows 3.1x and Macintosh System 7.x. Please note that there is a possibility that your CD-ROM drive will not be able to read the CD+ if is more than a few years old. For example, be aware that Creative Labs' 2X and 6X drives do not support CD+ and the company has made it known that they do not plan to write drivers for the format. Clicking on the upper left would take you to the video forest, the upper right would take you to the photo jam, the lower left would take you to the audio player, the staircase would take you to the Superunknown, and clicking on the skull exits the program. As you may already know, the official Soundgarden website has its own CD+ promo (with lots of dazzling server push-pull stuff).
