"Fell On Black Days" is the final single from Superunknown, and was released in a large
number of different versions, each with different b-sides. The track
lists for ten different versions are below. The scans to the left of
the track lists are incomplete; if you've got the missing covers, let
me know.
The video for "Fell On Black Days" was produced by Jake Scott (son of
Ridley Scott) and is available on the Alive In The
Superunknown CD+.

#1. The inside cover is the same as the front cover of UK single #2 ,
but it's upside-down and doesn't have the text. There's a sticker on
the front that reads "This Sticker is to inform you that this CD
contains a new mix of 'Fell On Black Days.' Thank you."

1980. Devo and Soundgarden both played at five Lollapalooza shows in
the summer of 1996.

make the final cut. The lyrics are
different than the Superunknown version.

In a move that foreshadows the band's later "noise" b-sides (like "A
Splice of Space Jam" and "Jerry Garcia's Finger"), this is nothing
more than Kim Thayil making his guitar sound like a revving
motorcycle engine.

Written by Chris Cornell, Matt Cameron, and Kim Thayil, this is a
favorite "rare" Soundgarden track, having also appeared on the Singles soundtrack. The demo version of
the song has appeared several times as a b-side, on the "Black Hole
Sun" and "My Wave" singles in 1994 and the "Burden In My Hand" single in 1996
(misprinted on the Australian version of the CD as "Birth Control").
